About Addington Early Years Centre
Addington has opened an Early Years Centre in Farley Hill, which is on the site of the old Farley Hill Primary School. The site has been redeveloped to meet the needs of our youngest pupils and is where Nursery - Key Stage 1 aged pupils begin their Addington School journey. Our Early Years Centre site first opened in October 2023, and will be at full capacity from September 2025 with 40 pupils across five classes.
Please only contact the Early Years Centre if your child currently attends this site. All other enquiries need to go to the Addington main site in Woodley.

Classes at Addington Early Years Centre:
Classes at our Early Years Centre are similar in size to our Early Years Department classes at the main school site in Woodley - approximately 8 pupils to 5 staff members. Across both sites, pupils are carefully grouped each year based on their age, needs and abilities, in order to create peer groups that are cohesive and that support teaching and learning as much as possible. This means that, unlike in mainstream schools, pupils are not grouped by year. For example, at the Early Years Centre each of our classes can be made up of a mixture of Reception, Year 1 and Year 2 pupils.
