Wellbeing - Explorers - Flower Mandalas

In this activity, you will be practising these skills:

  • focusing on a calming activity to help you feel relaxed
  • breathing slowly and deeply to help you feel relaxed

There are a few different ways that you can make a flower mandala so you can choose from the activities below. While you make your mandala, you could listen to the calming music in the YouTube clip below and don't forget to breath deeply while you work. 

Activity 1: Colouring a flower mandala

Below is an activity to help you make your own mandala design. 

There are also some flowers to colour in or to just cut out which you can stick on your mandala design. 

You could even draw and colour your own flowers.

Activity 3: Make a petal mandala

Below is a video of how you can make a petal mandala. Have you got some flowers at home that have finishing blooming? Make sure you ask a grown up before you pick or pull apart any flowers in your home or garden. 

You could make a mandala like this:
