Story - Explorers - Underpants Thunderpants

Hello Everyone!

Laura will be reading a story called Underpants Thunderpants and below the story are activities to try at home!

Step 1: Listen to Laura reading the story.

Step 2: Can you spot any different types of weather in the story? See if you can find a weather label to match the weather you see on different pages. You can find some weather labels in the documents at the bottom of the page. You can also watch the video of Makaton signs for weather and use them to describe the weather you see in the story.

Step 3: Make your own paper underpants using any of the documents at the bottom of the page or by drawing your own on plain paper. Maybe you could cut out pants using patterned wrapping paper? Can you blow your pants away like the wind does in the story? Where do they land? You could even play a matching game with the matching cards or pretend that some of your toys have discovered the pants like the creatures in the story. Be imaginative and have fun!
