World Book Day05Mar2026

Thursday 5th March, it is World Book Day. At Addington, we celebrate this as part of a wider 'Book Week' including book and story-themed activities which take place through the week. This year, our Book Week will be on the theme of Fairy Tales. On World Book Day itself, we offer pupils the chance to dress up as their favourite book character. This year, you may also want to follow our Fairy Tales theme! Dressing up is never compulsory, and no pupil should feel pressured to do so. For Key Stage 4, dressing up is entirely at the discretion of the student. In KS5 students will not dress up as they need to be appropriately dressed for going out into the community. Looking forward to seeing some lovely costumes on Thursday 5th March!

School Disco - save the date14Mar2026

The Association is planning a disco on the afternoon and evening of Saturday 14th March 2026. There will be separate events for Primary and Secondary together with an opportunity for parents and carers to meet up and chat. More details to follow in the New Year, but please note the date in your 2026 diaries.
